Sunshine on Rain Lake was a moment in time in Algonquin Park, Ontario during a family camping trip. We were on our favourite site on Rain Lake and the boys had their little plastic boats to tow in the water. It was a gorgeous sunny day with a strong warm wind. Big brother gets his boat ready for launch as little brother scrambles down the rocky slope to join in the fun. A play on words "SON"shine on Rain Lake as this piece revels in joys of being a mother of 2 little boys.
This piece was juried into 2 shows in 2007, and was exhibited in Salt Spring Island, BC and Amherst, NS.
